What a week

A week has already flown by, but what a week it was!!

Our calorie counting is still going strong. I dropped another 2lbs this week. 175, 12lbs in 3 weeks. Brandon is down to 252, 4lbs for him. Making his total weight loss 14lbs in 3 weeks.

Clothes are falling off of me, Brandon had to move a hole in his belt. I tried on summer clothes that didn't fit over the summer and they are too big now. I was a size 16 at the beginning, I am wearing size 14's now with some extra room in them. Size 12's are still a little snug but hopefully I will be in them soon!!

On Thursday my car decided not to start. Thursday night Brandon jumped it and Friday I went and bought a battery. With a little help from my little sister's boyfriend Kenny Talley we got it fixed. I learned how to change a battery!!

I got all of the Christmas presents wrapped, and today Brandon and I went and got the last few things. We just have 1 gift for my dad and 1 gift for his step and we are completely done. It is hard to believe that Christmas is 20 days away.

I did buy the greatest gifts for my sister....I can't wait for her to open it!!

I hope every one is having a wonderful weekend!! The kids and I are doing some Christmas present crafts tomorrow!! I'll take pictures for you all to see!!

  1. Please show off your Christmas crafts! I'm sorry about your car giving you trouble, but I'm so proud of you and Brandon on your weight loss, keep up the good work.

  2. Thanks Liz!! I will take pictures today while we make them. Hopefully my family doesn't get on and see them....

  3. Way to go Katie and Brandon! We're going to start our snowmen ornaments later today:)

  4. YAY I can't wait to see pictures. We started our Reindeer...Miles didn't want his hands to participate. So I am going to try with Brandon's help later.

  5. That is sooooo awesome Katie, Have you guys changed what you ate or just the portion size? Also are you working out? What are your secrets? I want to get serious about weight loss at the beginning of the year and I am look for any help possible. Keep up the good work girl!

  6. Anna it is really portion size, calorie counting, getting rid of the junk food, drinking more water. We have tons of fruit and veggies in the house at all time. When I get home from the store I cut up carrots, wash the fruit, put our snacks in snack size portions. Easy to grab and go and we know exactly how many calories.
I only eat around 1500 calories a day. I'm also still Breastfeeding. I do some ab workouts during the day but not really working out. I am hoping that I can start once my mom is on Christmas break and can watch the kids.
